Juno Jones has announced that it will launch its first Kickstarter campaign on February 11, 2020. Its first product to be released is called the Meti Boot, which is aimed at women in engineering, architecture, construction, and many more fields. The Meti Boot is made of a full-grain, environmentally certified waterproofed and chemical resistant leather upper. The boot is ASTM certified for impact resistance, compression resistance, and puncture resistance. It contains a steel toe and puncture-proof midsole. The natural rubber outsole is non-slip, oil-resistant, and features a sturdy lug tread. There is a removable memory foam anti-fatigue comfort insole with arch support. Juno Jones’ mission is not only to make boots but to empower and normalize women in STEM and nontraditional fields. They want women to feel seen and acknowledged. According to Juno Jones’s founder, Emily Soloby, “When I couldn’t find the protective footwear I needed to get me from office to job site, I started Juno Jones.” 

Juno Jones is a new safety shoe brand manufacturing stylish steel toe boots for women in hazardous jobs. The founder of Juno Jones, Emily Soloby, has a background in women’s rights issues.  Soloby is a former lawyer, and for the last 10 years she co-owned a transportation safety training firm in Philly. Soloby runs Juno Jones along with her husband, Ryan, as her business partner.
